If a female dog is bred by two male dogs right before she ovulates those follicles then you do have a chance of having a litter with two different dads. You can even have a mom who will have babies and then a few days later have more babies. Or some babies that were born last in the litter might be quite a bit smaller than the rest could have been concieved on a different day. Bitches are fertile for several days to a week making this possible for them to mate several times and have a few different fathers for their litter. Yes of course. Sometimes you can tell which pups were conceived on different days because some of them are huge and seem to open their eyes sooner and become alert more quickly. Yes! Color does not necessarily indicate which dog is the father. You could get DNA testing for all your dogs and the puppies and see which one is the father of which pups but that would be very expensive. You might get a surprise, too. Good idea to keep your female separated and only allow her to breed with one male per cycle. haha.
