In my biology class i have to do a presentation on DNA fingerprinting. I was looking for any ideas about a visual aid to present the information. I was also looking for good websites where i can find information on.

lol YAF, this wasn't an assignment just a discussion we had in class.

while setting a lab for DNA fingerprinting choice of instruement is difficult to be made. I need complete summary from a to z that should we have in our lab where DNA fingerprinting will be done by STR identification methos.

1) What other methods can be used to verify that transformation occurred? Explain.

2)In your lab, you ran your DNA samples on a 0.8% agarose gel. Would you get the same results if you ran your samples on a higher percentage agarose gel? Why or why not?
