Some people believe that all Australian citezens should provide a sample of DNA so that a national database of fingerprints can be established.

why is saliva useful in DNA fingerprinting?

i'm writing a report on this...so far i know the content of saliva but I just cant give a definite reason why it is a good DNA source so please anyone help me out.
