2. The same number of bands but the migration pattern would be different due the the different migration of the DNA fragments based on length. Shorter DNA-higher percentage gel is appropriate, longer DNA- lower percentage gel is appropriate.

3. Three, assuming all the fragments are not so small that they run off the gel.
