I have met Jack Russell Terriers that I wouldn't go close to again, but have for no reason had a bad encounter with an American Staffordshire Terrier. If you are speaking about their owners- nicely, that's a different story. Humans are creatures as well, and we often every have our own ideas about "moral concepts". They are adding breeds every day though, so you'd want to check on that. There are tests that you can do yourself through the mail, but they aren't as accurate, and they do not recognize as many breeds, yet. Anyway, I'm not sure your vet would be under any obligation to release such information to your insurance company, and I don't think your insurance company would ask if you already have the dog in your policy. Best bet would be to talk to your vet and see what they have to say about the issues that have you worried. Good luck. Do not bother! I have a friend whose vet did a "test" of one of these kits on her Champion Samoyed - the results came back "Siberian Husky & Shetland Sheepdog MIX" DNA breed test kits are notoriously inaccurate. Do not bother!
