in pennsylvania does the hospital do a dna test?

i live in pa. i need a dna test as soon as my baby is born.she is due jan 9th 2008. can i get a free dna test in the hospital n if so how lond does it take? and i'm gonna buy a home dna test..how accurate r they n can i do it as soon as she is born

You can request one in the hospital. I don’t think it’s free, but I know in CT, the state pays for it, so they can be sure to get their child support. Call your Dept. of Social Services, they’ll let you know.

It varies by state, but in NJ if the father questions paternity, they will offer one paid for by the state.
Insurances will not cover a DNA test and the at home ones aren’t accurate 100%.
