My sons father took a home dna test with my son, i was not present and the tests came back he is not the fathe?

Now first he looks just like his father and the results came back not his. There was a lot of matches on the result pages but there were some that didnt match his now if he isnt the father than how can they have any of the same dna matches. Plus would me not being there have anythign to do with it, i mean the areas where his numbers didnt match with his could that be me or what. Like i said he looks just like him and everyone else says the same thing. Can someone help me out on this one????

There are home DNA tests? That seems to me like something that would be too complicated to do at home by yourself. If I were you, I’d offer to get the father and son professionally tested (if you can find a reasonably priced place in your area). It sounds like the home kit was too confusing.

if he is really that concerned get a real dna test by a professional. Only identical twins have the same exact dna so your son’s would not perfectly match his fathers.

People barely even trust home pregnancy tests….I wouldn’t trust someone to read a home dna test.

    DNA is like a puzzle…
pieces put together to make a picture

i have brown hair… Hitler had brown hair… i’m not related to him but we are bound to have SOME matches just by a random series of events… and home DNA tests are not perfected… the only home test that DOES work is the home pregnancy test…

so i would go get an OFFICIAL test at the hospital to see if he was in fact reading it wrong

it would also help if he was the only one you had intercourse with…

Is there any reason your husband thinks that the child is not his? Did you sleep with someone else? If you didn’t then you should have nothing to worry about except your husband not thinking it is his. If he wants a dna test get one from a lab not a box you buy at the drug store how silly is that. If you haven’t been with no one else get him the dna test it’s roughly 600 dollars, and if yo were with someone else. Tell him the truth now because for some reason he is already having doubts that this is his child!

try talking to the father of your son
re-do the D.N.A. with you present
    see if it changes
but if it doesnt life is life and he might not be the father
but have you slept with anyone other then him?
dont ask the father that question , noo point guys lie!
    GOODLUCK :)

Home DNA tests and Do It Yourself analysis. You MUST be from the home of Free enterprise. Seriously, he can’t be serious. Do the results draw the conclusion that they couldn’t be father and son. It isn’t a job for hopefull fathers looking for a way out. you know if he is the father – well at least you know if their is any chance that he isn’t.
Don’t be bluffed, no Home test is going to be evidence in court. I am sorry you are having a having this happen. Call his bluff, in the mean time what is he filling your son’s head with?

I don’t know, how many markers being tested!!! If 23 markers have been tested than it is most accurate test I will say. Many companies does 16 marker test (You can count them on report). I will suggest you to redo the test and involve also yourself in the test. Because half of the dna content will come from you as well. That will be complete relationship test. If more than 2 markers mismatch from father than certainly father is someone else.
