r at home dna tests submissible in court?

if a man signs the acknowledgement of paternity and then finds out the baby is not his...does the state still hold him responsible? also if they snuck a at home dna test does that hold up in court since it could be tampered with?????

    A court will order a paternity test. It will not accept the results of a home test.

    It is not likely to be accepted or admitted unless the samples are taken by a nurse, physician, or medical or forensic tech who is not a party to the suit or a relative of a party. .

    Sure it is admissible. You just have to convince the court of ALL of the following:
    A. The samples tested were properly collected by someone WITHOUT an interest in the case.
    B. NONE of the samples was contaminated in any way.
    C. The test was conducted properly.

    You will NOT be able to prove the above.
