I have heard about the thing that oprah did about finding her roots, and I know that they are just matching genetics with similar ones around the world. But does it actually work if you were to do it? Cuz, I am Latino (Mestizo: Spanish and Indigenous) and I wana know what tribes my ancestors might have come from.

I want to learn about where my ancestors came from by a DNA test because of some issues with my maternal grandparents origiins.

Are there any such DNA tests at all?

Other black celebrities mentioned Ghana, Nigeria, and various other places.

I know that my ancestry is mixed and I have no way to determine who my ancestors were by asking family members. I just want to find out what things I could be mixed with by doing DNA testing thats accurate and at a reasonable price that is not too expensive. I don`t know what test I should take.
