1-the altered dna is used as an enzyme that break down the allregens in peanuts
2-the altered dna is the code for the antibodies against the allergens
3-the altered dna is used to synthesize changed forms of these proteins
4-the altered dna leaves the nucleus and becomes part of the allergy-producing protein

If anyone knows some links of people with photos
latins, actresses etc. I would appreciate this.
I am just curious how accurate the dna and ancestry tests are.
Also how much they seem to relate to their known heritage.
I need this for a dna class I am taking.
Thanks!!

I've heard a couple of times lately about places were you can send a DNA sample and they will analyze it and then they can tell you a lot about your ancestory. Can you recommend a reputable place to send mine? Also, what is a reasonable price for this service?

I have a rescue dog that looks like a full blooded American Bull Dog or one with a little Mastiff in her. At least 3 of her 10 puppies looked just like Mastiff puppies. I'd like to have her DNA tested, but I can't find a company that will test for that breed. Can you help?

I don't want opinions, thanks, I want to know if anyone can give me a website showing how long it takes to match DNA found, say under the nails, with the blood of a suspect. Thanks.
No, Homer, you idiot - I was discussing the JonBenet Ramsey case with a friend and she said that it can take weeks - I heard it can take as little as a day. So go bite yourself until it hurts.
OK, I guess I have to repeat myself - I need a *website* showing the information so I can show proof of the time, not just tell my friend that "a couple of people told me so."

Looking for an accurate, reliable DNA Gnome testing website to find out my ethnic background. I would like something simple where they send me the kit, I swab my cheek, send it back, & later get my results in the mail. My spending limit is 0.

I know how the paternity tests read (exclusion, inclusion) and all about the genetic markers, but how accurate is genetic testing. How possible is it for DNA testing to identify a man that is not the father as the father, or a man who is the father as not?

To Jetfighter for his comment- I know who my childs father is. I'm asking because some girls coming around saying shes pregnant with my little brothers baby and I was doing some research on paternity testing. Maybe next time you should keep your snide comments to yourself.

I come from a cultural and ethnically mixed family. As far as we know we're spanish, french and irish, but it all seems like vague information seeing as how most of my oldest relatives have passed. I'd like to find living relatives and know the true origins of my ethnic background. Can anyone recommend a good ancestry dna website to order a kit, or any other recommendations. I come from a small family, and i thought it would be neat to find more living relatives out there. Thanks!

What is the best DNA ancestry business?
i have got over 8 (and counting) different nationalities in my blood, and have always wondered who i am in a historical sense. supposedly, icould be related to Attila Khan, and or Vladimir Dracul (funny, I thought so too). Well anyway, I had heard of the DNA ancestry project, and it sounded fascinating, and was just wondering if there are any that are better.

The assumption is made that DNA mutates at a steady rate. But we see long periods of species stasis broken by brief periods of rapid evolution (punctuated equilibrium). The fossil record strongly supports the punctuated equilibrium interpretation. How does punctuated equilibrium square with the belief that DNA mutates at a steady rate?
