i am very interested in tracing my family history. i recently took a dna test for genetree and i am still a little confused as to understanding it. it was a maternal mitochondrial test. i also tried to put my dna into ancestry.com, but i didn't know what my mtdna regions were. if you could give me some suggestions, i would really appreciate it. thanks

Hi I trying to do my family tree. The thing is do you know where i can go and get a dna test to found people in the past with my dna.Also I want to know if someone could do it for me and i just pay them to look up all my family history.

To find out who our ancestors were we are having a DNA analysis done. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I am into family history big time and have brickwalled at a great-great grandfather

Is there a service which will perform a dna test from samples of two individuals to determine whether or not they are related. I am tracing my family history and am in contact with someone on the opposite side of the Atlantic, (Does the distance cause a problem for testing?) and we think a dna test would help decide whether or not we are related.

What is the most accredited ancestral dna testing company to use?

I want to do ancestral dna testing to prove what i found doing my family history. What is the best company to go through, cause I know there are some phonies out there. Any ideas?
