but wanted it to be anonymous incase any breeds came up that homeonwners insurance companies declare as being aggressive. Does anyone know how to go about doing this anonymously? I hear there may be a do-it-yourself kit that uses dog saliva that you mail off, but not sure how accurate they are.

I ask this question because it relates to a story I'm writing. My main character is a medical student and needs to have her DNA tested on her blood and her hair or saliva.

In medical school, would you ever do DNA tests and would you ever use your own DNA, specifically ones own DNA?

why is saliva useful in DNA fingerprinting?

i'm writing a report on this...so far i know the content of saliva but I just cant give a definite reason why it is a good DNA source so please anyone help me out.
